The Batch Breakdown Spreadsheet was created after a Soapy Friend reached out with a unique challenge.
She was trying to comply with Health Canada regulations for listing allergens in her soap. She knew how much fragrance oil she’d used and even knew the percentages of the individual components within that fragrance oil, but she needed a way to determine what percentage of each ingredient was actually present in the final cured bar.
There wasn’t an easy way to calculate it.
So my son and I built this spreadsheet.
