Kandra’s Go-To Vegan Palm-Free Soap Recipe: Course Lessons

This recipe is the base of nearly all my soaps. When you see me soaping on a Wet Soap Wednesday Live… 99% chance that this is the recipe I’m using. Like most soap recipes it evolved over years of trials and errors and has turned into my absolute favorite recipe for a number of reasons:

1. It’s made with easily to obtain oils (relatively easy in that you can obtain all of these oils in a grocery store in the USA).
2. It’s flexible enough to quickly modify to accommodate additives (anything from butters to food stuff or custom liquids)
3. It’s super easy to control. You can soap fast, you can soap slow, can you be soaping and have the darn doorbell ring and still come back in time to finish your soap. LOVE IT!
4. With my low water formula, I can make soap in the morning and unmold it before dinner.
5. It has an amazing lather, and the bars last a very long time.
6. And, it has a nice light color that works splendidly with natural colorants.

• a creamy dreamy lather that you can shave with!
