Want blue soap? This quick mini-course on ensuring you’re using the right indigo in your soap recipes has the answers you’re looking for!

Find out what indigo powder you have; learn what you should buy (and where to buy it from); and find out why your soap turned out green or gray when you wanted blue.

Featuring AnneGeorges Colorants

When I was first learning to make blue soaps, I was right there with you. They were all turning out green or gray, but never blue! Talk about the lesson I wish I had learned all those dollars and batches of soap ago!

This free mini-tutorial will have you get started towards finding your perfect blue soap, and give you an idea of what our unique tutorial and class structure is like here at Soapy Friends. Topics are organized into easily digestible bits so you can learn without being overwhelmed.  Each tutorial, class, and recipe goes beyond “do this because we told you to” by explaining the how and why so you can absorb the information and develop a natural skill for the craft of soapmaking.

I sincerely hope you enjoy this mini-tutorial, and that you’ll share pictures of your lovely blue soaps after you read it!

Great tutorial! Loved it. I learned a lot from this short mini tutorial. I haven’t make any soap yet. Waiting for the indigo from Anne Georges to arrive. The USPS are giving a hard time with the delivery.

I have been sort of playing with small amounts of indigo here and there and honestly l found it messy and irritating but l have tried Kandras way and l am getting quite brave with the lovely shades of colours of blue and getting much much better and trying other colours and ways as well. Thanks Kandra.
